Creamy Spinach Pasta

Lately I’ve been getting crafty with my meals and what I’ve been cooking, partly for my health but mostly out of a simple lifestyle choice. I actually enjoy spending the time in the kitchen after I get home from work to craft up some new dishes, and eat something other than a hot pocket…

The best part about this dish is that I didn’t even use a recipe! Below I will list the ingredients I can remember that I used.

  • Pasta shells.
  • Spinach
  • Cream Cheese
  • Garlic Powder
  • Chili Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Water
  • Milk

Viewing cooking as a game of trial and error has allowed me to get out of my comfort zone and make some meals I didn’t think I’d ever try.

Internet Finds: Thirty Logos

The other week I had been scrolling through Behance when I came across a new website that is really resourceful for beginner graphic designers! Thirty Logos is a 30 day challenge where you are sent faux-design briefs! Do not be fooled, because the briefs are all modeled after actual briefs from what would seem like a legitimate client.

All you have to do is type in your email address and for thirty days you will receive a different brief!(Ex. below.)

If you’re curious to see what other people are making with the prompts that Thirty Logos sends, check out the #ThirtyLogos hashtag on Twitter.

A New Space

Well this is a little strange. There is a breath of fresh air that comes with moving into a new digital space. For those who do not know, my name is Clayton Gerard and I am a 21 year old graphic designer and self-improvement addict currently stationed in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I started this blog as I have gone through a complete reformat of my existence online, and my main space, claytongerard.com will now be primarily text and thought pieces while I will be sharing my creative work here.

So… here we go!
